About the role
Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and negotiations. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the healthcare industry. A successful Head Legal should have: A degree in law from a recognised institution. Proven expertise in corporate legal matters, including contracts and compliance.
What you'll do
- Provide legal advice and support on regulatory compliance and governance matters across the organisation
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Oversee litigation and liaise with external legal counsel as required
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential legal risks
