Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel will provide practical, business-oriented legal support to the Company's operations while ensuring compliance with local laws and the policies and governance standards of the global group. The role will work closely with business stakeholders in India and collaborate with the Regional General Manager and global legal team on commercial, corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial contracts
• Provide legal advice on commercial, corporate, employment, regulatory, and compliance matters under Indian law
• Support corporate governance, statutory compliance, and company secretarial matters in coordination with external advisers
• Advise on legal and regulatory developments affecting the business and support implementation of global policies
• Manage disputes and coordinate with external counsel as required

What you need

• 5–8 yrs of experience
