About the role

As a Shift In Charge, you will lead shop floor operations for sheet metal fabrication, ensuring you meet production targets, quality standards, and safety practices. You will manage a team of operators and technicians, oversee CNC punching operations, and improve programmes. You will report to Production Supervisor and will work onsite in Kancheepuram.

What you'll do

• Production Management Manage shift-wise production activities to achieve daily targets
• Ensure optimum use of workforce, machines, and materials
• Coordinate with planning team for production scheduling and execution
• Manpower Handling & Team Management Manage shift workforce (operators, helpers, technicians)
• Monitor operator performance, discipline, attendance, and productivity

What you need

• 5–8 yrs of experience
• Production planning
• 5S
• CNC operation
• Lean manufacturing
• Kaizen
• Preventive maintenance
• B.Tech or B.E.

Good to have

• Root cause analysis
• SAP
• ERP
