Machinery Monitoring Engineer

About the role

The Machinery Monitoring Engineer is part of the Reliability and Integrity organization within Chevron’s ENGINE Center and provides remote monitoring, diagnostics, and development of new solutions for critical rotating equipment across Chevron offshore operating assets.

What you'll do

• Performs remote support through exception-based monitoring of critical rotating and reciprocating machinery across Business Units and business segments
• Supports expansion of predictive analytics and other advanced analysis tools for machinery performance evaluation and early warning detection
• Engages with Business Units on equipment troubleshooting and identification of long-term trend deviation and equipment degradation
• Utilizes online condition monitoring programs to support asset health evaluations
• Supports data collection and reporting for benchmarking of critical rotating equipment reliability and efficiency metrics

What you need

• 10–18 yrs of experience
• Troubleshooting
• Root cause analysis
• B.Tech or B.E.
