Manager - Credit Risk

About the role

Responsible for underwriting and monitoring the credit risk of the business and escalating significant credit risk issues to Management. Facilitate the execution of risk management processes to assist in the achievement of the business objectives of the organisation whilst ensuring effective credit risk mitigation.

What you'll do

• Prepare credit reviews and approve limits, if within Credit Manager authority
• Responsible for executing activities to minimize counterparty risk exposure
• Ensure that appropriate credit risk policies, standards, controls, and procedures are established and adhered to; and promote diligent assessment, measurement
• Provide clear, proportionate risk analysis and recommendations to senior management / governance committees where appropriate Improve the consistency, quality
• Support initiatives to improve risk measurement through automation, data quality improvements, and enhanced analytics
