About the role

Lead the design and development of CNC cutting tools, including Solid Carbide, Indexable, and Special Purpose Tools, from concept to product launch. Develop optimized tool geometries and innovative tooling solutions to improve machining performance, productivity, and tool life. Collaborate with Production, Application Engineering, Quality, and Sales teams to deliver customer-specific tooling solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of CNC cutting tools, including Solid Carbide, Indexable, and Special Purpose Tools, from concept to product launch
• Develop optimized tool geometries and innovative tooling solutions to improve machining performance, productivity, and tool life
• Collaborate with Production, Application Engineering, Quality, and Sales teams to deliver customer-specific tooling solutions
• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with quality and engineering standards
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Design team, establishing best practices and driving technical excellence

What you need

• 8–10 yrs of experience
• AutoCAD
• CNC operation
• Root cause analysis
• Mechanical engineering
• GD&T
• Siemens NX
• B.Tech or B.E.
