About the role

We are seeking an experienced EV Powertrain Sourcing & Development Engineer with strong expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS), DC-DC Converters, Chargers, Traction Motors, Motor Controllers/Inverters, and other high-voltage/low-voltage electrical powertrain components used in Electric Vehicles (EVs) .

What you'll do

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams during concept, prototype, validation, and production phases
• Drive NPD activities from RFQ stage through SOP (Start of Production)
• Evaluate design feasibility, manufacturability, localization opportunities, and cost competitiveness
• Support component selection, supplier nomination, APQP activities, and production readiness
• Conduct Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) , Should Costing , and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) exercises for EV powertrain components

What you need

• 5–10 yrs of experience
• APQP
• FMEA
• PPAP
• IATF 16949
• Costing
• SOP writing
• B.Tech or B.E.
