About the role

The AI Governance Manager will be responsible for establishing and embedding the organisation's framework for the safe, ethical, and compliant use of AI and machine learning. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the AI Governance Manager will ensure that AI systems are designed, deployed, and monitored in line with emerging regulatory requirements, organisational risk appetite, and ethical standards.

What you'll do

• Implement and maintain the organization's AI Governance Framework and related policies
• Maintain a centralized inventory of AI and automated decision-making use cases across business functions
• Lead AI risk assessments, identifying and mitigating risks related to privacy, bias, fairness, explainability, and security
• Coordinate with business and technology teams to review and approve AI use cases
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance standards relating to AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and customer protection
