Manager, Operations Project Management

About the role

The Manager, Operations Project Management leads a team of project managers responsible for delivering complex, multi-workstream operational initiatives for Q2’s financial institution and fintech clients. This role is accountable for ensuring projects are scoped effectively, requirements are clear, and timelines and quality commitments are consistently met across a portfolio of client and internal initiatives.

What you'll do

• Lead, develop, and coach a team of project managers delivering complex operational and implementation projects for key clients and internal stakeholders
• Oversee planning and execution across a portfolio of projects, ensuring scope, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria are clearly defined and actively managed
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align priorities, remove obstacles
• Establish, maintain, and enforce standards for project artifacts, documentation, communication, and status reporting to drive consistency and transparency
• Monitor team capacity and workload, making informed resourcing and prioritization decisions to support predictable, sustainable delivery
