Manager Software System Design

About the role

AMD's Predictive Memory Tiering business unit is looking for a QA Manager to own the functional and non-functional quality of our performance-critical memory-tiering software. You will be responsible for the success of a growing QA team and AMD's high-performance quality goals.

What you'll do

• Take our existing test automation framework, eliminate architectural gaps, and implement robust quality processes across performance, durability, security
• Own the existing QA automation framework; define and continuously improve processes to eliminate gaps across performance, durability, security, and user experience
• Partner with Product and Development to streamline releases; turn requirements and feature designs into comprehensive test plans
• Define and implement progressive testing layers: pre-commit validation on pull requests, CI checks on merges, and end-to-end regression, performance
• Drive testing efficiency to minimize release validation times; champion AI-augmented tools so the team focuses on system semantics over boilerplate
