Mechanical Design Engineer – Battery Module

What you'll do

• Develop battery module architecture, packaging, and detailed mechanical designs, including cell-retention and compression systems, structural components
• Integrate Cell Monitoring Units (CMUs), sensing components, electrical interconnects, busbars
• Account for cell dimensional variation, swelling, compression, thermal expansion, electrical clearance and creepage, assembly requirements
• Develop production-ready 3D models, assemblies, BOMs, material specifications, and mechanical interface requirements
• Apply GD&T and perform tolerance stack-up and packaging analyses
