About the role

You will work across programs and design everything from aircraft mechanisms and propulsion hardware to test rigs, fixtures, and one-off mechanisms. The ideal candidate would enjoy solving new mechanical problems and turning ideas into working hardware quickly.

What you'll do

Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, 2D drawings, and manufacturing documentation
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) across machining, composites, additive manufacturing, and other processes
Design mechanisms, joints, mounts, actuators, linkages, and other moving systems
Perform tolerance analysis, interference checks, and fit/function reviews for complex assemblies
Work closely with engineers, technicians, machinists, vendors, and manufacturing teams to take designs from CAD to physical hardware
