About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join AMETEK’s Advanced Motion Solutions Division. The role will support multiple business units in this division for development of a wide range of electromechanical products including Motors, Actuators, Control Valves. The ideal candidate should possess good exposure of the Electro-mechanical Products.

What you'll do

Act as the engineering focal point between US Engineering, India Supply Chain, and Suppliers
Provide supplier engineering support by conducting DFM reviews, supporting First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, and implementing engineering changes
Coordinate with Suppliers for design clarifications, manufacturability, reviews, and technical issue resolution
Support Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN) implementation and product transition activities
Drive localization and cost-reduction initiatives through Supplier engagement and technical evaluations
