Mechanical Lead

About the role

You will lead mechanical engineering development for advanced precision systems including semiconductor capital equipment, wafer inspection tools, and analytical instrumentation. You are responsible for the complete mechanical design lifecycle from concept through manufacturing, working on ultra-high precision systems that operate at nanometer tolerances in cleanroom environments.

What you'll do

• Lead mechanical design and analysis for precision motion systems, vacuum chambers, and ultra-stable structural frameworks
• Drive design reviews, FMEA sessions, and tolerance stack-up analysis for nanometer-precision assemblies
• Manage mechanical engineering teams in Pune, working together with teams in The Netherlands and Singapore
• Define mechanical architecture for multi-million-dollar semiconductor capital equipment projects
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams on DFM guidelines and assembly process validation
