Microbiologist (MD)

About the role

We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Microbiologist to coordinate and lead all infection control activities within the hospital. The role involves providing expert advice to staff, ensuring best practices in infection prevention, conducting audits and surveillance, and implementing educational programs for hospital employees.

What you'll do

• Infection Control Coordination Lead the Infection Control (IC) team and coordinate its activities
• Provide guidance to staff on preventing and managing infections, including the decontamination of equipment and environments
• Advisory Role Advise on the management of individual patient cases and outbreaks of infection
• Offer expertise on infection prevention practices across all areas of healthcare
• Audits & Surveillance Conduct environmental and practice audits, and implement robust surveillance programs

What you need

• 0–5 yrs of experience
• Microbiology
• Infection control
• Documentation
• MBBS
