Non-NBS Science Team (Carbon Business)

About the role

The primary objective of the incumbent will be to execute ongoing validation and verification of community or renewable energy projects across the globe. He or she shall ensure adherence to carbon offset methodologies while applying advanced techniques to estimate emission reductions. He or she shall support projects to meet their objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Execution of emission reduction/mitigation projects within the framework of community-level projects, renewable energy projects
• Execution and management of I-REC & TIGR projects and timely delivery to customers
• Independently manage validation and verification audits and preparation of relevant documentation and reports as per relevant Registry guidelines
• Interface between the customers and other cross-functional support teams
• Stay abreast of emerging carbon offset standards and methodologies. Keep the team updated about the project guidelines

What you need

• 2–4 yrs of experience
• B.Tech or B.E.
