NPI Engineer - Senior

About the role

This person owns hands-on build and validation execution at the JDM, working in close coordination with the client's HQ-based Technical Program Manager (TPM), who owns the overall program schedule and cross-functional plan. This is a hands-on, on-site role, not a remote-coordination job.

What you'll do

• Serve as the on-the-ground engineering owner at the JDM, present for build events (EVT/DVT/PVT/MP) and day-to-day line activity
• Drive build planning with the JDM: line setup, work instructions, fixture/tooling readiness and build schedules, in line with the program plan set by HQ Engineering
• Own test and validation execution at the JDM — functional test, reliability/environmental test
• Triage failures and defects in real time on the line; drive root cause analysis and corrective action with JDM engineering
• Maintain and enforce the ECO/deviation process with the JDM — no unauthorized changes to BOM, process or test procedures
