Nursing Officer

About the role

The Nursing Officer is responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and established clinical protocols. The role involves patient assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care, medication administration, monitoring patient conditions, maintaining clinical documentation, and coordinating with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

What you'll do

• Assess patients' health conditions and identify nursing care needs
• Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration and oxygen saturation
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures and emergency interventions

What you need

• 0–3 yrs of experience
• Medication administration
• Infection control
• Patient care
• BLS
• ACLS
• ICU care
• B.Sc Nursing or GNM

Good to have

• Vital signs monitoring
• SOP writing
