About the role

The role partners with Sales, Operations, Pricing, Procurement, Finance, and regional and global product teams to deliver competitive, reliable, and customer-focused solutions.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a clear Ocean Freight growth strategy for India, aligned with regional and global priorities
  • Drive sustainable growth in revenue, volume, gross profit, market share, and priority trade lanes
  • Lead negotiations with shipping lines to secure competitive rates, capacity, free time, service commitments, and commercial terms
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key shipping lines and Ocean service providers
  • Manage the full lifecycle of liner contracts, including negotiation, implementation, utilisation, performance review, compliance, and renewal
