What you'll do

  • Operate tool and cutter grinding machines to manufacture and recondition cutting tools
  • Set up and adjust grinding machine parameters to achieve required dimensions and surface finish
  • Inspect tools using measuring instruments such as micrometres, verniers, profile projectors, and gauges
  • Maintain tool quality and adhere to specified tolerances
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping activities
