OPS-RC / Risk & Control

About the role

The Control function is responsible for managing and ensuring a sustainable governance framework to ensure controls are ‘fit for purpose’, operating as designed and are adaptable to the challenges brought in by various external events and regulatory changes. The team thus looks to facilitate identification of the firm’s risks by ensuring adequate controls are in place within Operations.

What you'll do

• Test Planning & Execution: Develop detailed test plans, select appropriate sample sizes, and perform walkthroughs to validate implementation effectiveness
• Documentation & Evidence Gathering: Collect, review, and analyze supporting documentation to substantiate control performance
• Issue Identification & Reporting: Identify control deficiencies, gaps, or failures
• Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to control design and testing methodologies based on observations and industry best practices
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business process owners, internal audit, compliance
