Optical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Optoelectronics Engineer – Production to support the manufacturing, testing, and process optimization of optoelectronic products such as lasers, photodetectors, optical modules, and communication systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with production, quality, and R&D teams to ensure high-yield, reliable, and scalable manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Support day-to-day production of optoelectronic components and systems
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain optical and electronic test equipment
• Monitor production yield, analyze failures, and implement corrective actions
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve throughput, quality, and cost efficiency
• Perform optical alignment, assembly, and characterization of devices such as lasers, modulators, photodiodes, and fiber-optic modules

What you need

• 1–4 yrs of experience
• Physics
• SOP writing
• Root cause analysis
• B.Tech or B.E.

Good to have

• Python
• MATLAB
