About the role

As the Head of Pathology, you will play a pivotal role in leading our pathology services, ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic testing, patient care, and staff development, while driving continuous quality improvements and operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Leadership & Operations Ensure the smooth running of the pathology unit while providing leadership, mentoring, and staff development
• Collaborate with senior management and doctors to ensure high-quality testing results and exceed customer expectations
• Take accountability for services, ensuring professional laboratory services are always provided
• Foster and maintain effective communication and a positive working relationship among hospital staff, patients, and the public
• Patient & Clinical Management Evaluate the quality and appropriateness of tests, make necessary changes, and ensure customer satisfaction
