Payroll Tax Analyst

About the role

The Payroll Tax Analyst is responsible for the multi-state payroll tax processing which includes, but is not limited to, federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance and maintaining accurate records on employee tax data. The Payroll Tax Analyst performs a variety of complex payroll functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification, and reconciliation of employee pay information.

What you'll do

• Research and resolve multi-state payroll inquiries and related issues
• Responsible for running and analyzing payroll audits to identify and correct problems prior to payroll confirmation
• Interact and provide assistance to other stakeholders regarding taxation and documentation requirements
• Participate in the year end processing of W2’s
• Assist with the updating of documentation of payroll procedures
