PDP - Senior Piping Revit Designer

About the role

In this role, you will plan, develop, coordinate and review plant design and piping work on large projects having specialized requirements. You will optimize facility layout based on diagrams, client needs, current technology, and operational and maintenance requirements. Your technical input will ensure configuration compliance, procurement requirements are met, and complex issues are resolved.

What you'll do

• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications
• Directly performs the work of designers and drafters of a design group for a business line technology
• This work includes the preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed 3-D Design models and 2-D construction drawings
• Prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize design effort
• Coordinates or makes jobsite visits, as required, to resolve problems and interpret drawings and documents
