PKF Perth - Intermediate/Senior Accountant (BAS)

About the role

An account in the Business Advisory division is responsible for managing client bookkeeping, preparing financial statements and tax returns, and ensuring compliance with relevant taxation legislation and statutory deadlines. The role involves analyzing financial information, completing BAS and payroll tax lodgments, and liaising with the ATO and financial institutions where required.

What you'll do

• Perform bookkeeping duties, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Prepare individual, trust, and company tax returns in accordance with relevant legislation
• Provide financial and taxation advice to clients, offering guidance to support informed decision-making
• Maintain and monitor internal control systems to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Review and analyze operating costs, income, and expenditure to support business performance
