About the role
The Planner plays a role in coordinating product build schedules for Manufacturing Operations and maintaining the ERP system to ensure demand signals are driving continuity of material supply so Plug Power can meet established production and customer delivery schedules. The Planner must be skilled at working with cross-functional departments to coordinate efforts and communicate requirements to meet the production schedule.
What you'll do
- Timely and accurate maintenance of planning parameters in ERP database
- Timely and accurate processing of sales orders, transfer orders, and unplanned parts requests
- Support/communicate material shortages with Production and Supply Chain
- Occasional administrative support for Lead Planners
- Coordinate product line logistics and warehouse activities where needed
