About the role

The Primary Planner is responsible for end-to-end planning and coordination of materials, production schedules, and supply chain activities to support customer demand and business objectives within the Varian Semiconductor Business Unit.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and execute production and material plans to meet customer demand and business commitments
  • Analyze demand forecasts and translate requirements into actionable production schedules
  • Ensure material availability through effective coordination with Procurement, Sourcing, and Suppliers
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance customer service, inventory investment, and operational efficiency
  • Lead planning activities for New Product Introduction (NPI), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and product transitions
