About the role

Reporting into the senior engineering leadership team, the Principal Architect will own the technical direction of the company's platform and serve as the highest technical authority across architecture and distributed systems design.

What you'll do

• Define the long-term architectural roadmap across platform, infrastructure, AI serving, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations
• Design highly scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems capable of supporting rapid business growth
• Lead architecture reviews and establish engineering standards, design principles, and technical governance
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Machine Learning teams to translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions
• Drive platform reliability, observability, performance, and technical quality across the engineering organisation
