Set technical standards around scalability, reliability, performance and engineering quality. Stay hands-on - prototype, code and validate critical technical decisions. 10-15 years of engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend engineering and distributed systems. Deep expertise in backend architecture, distributed systems, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

Own architecture and AI strategy across the company
Shape technology strategy with the founding team
Own the backend architecture and technical direction across the company's product portfolio
Design and scale distributed systems, APIs, data platforms, cloud infrastructure and core engineering platforms
Lead the integration of AI agents and agentic workflows into production, working across orchestration, retrieval, tool use, context and observability
