About the role

This is an opportunity to help lead a core part of our infrastructure through generation of recommendations and thought leadership, operating as a senior technical authority, driving complex initiatives, setting direction, and influencing outcomes beyond your immediate remit. Not only delivering assigned work but actively driving projects forward. Delivering outcomes not simply completing given tasks.

What you'll do

  • Work as part of a team to define, design and implement the Platform Infrastructure used within our hybrid cloud locations
  • Be “the company expert” and technical authority for your technologies
  • Provide 3rd line support escalation to the Infrastructure Support/Operations teams. Provide technical training to those backline and operations teams as required
  • Support the team in selecting products and partners, providing all necessary documentation for launch, implementation and support of designated products
  • Perform technical POCs and solution validations & recommendations
