Principal Systems & Solutions Engineer

About the role

The Senior Systems & Solutions Engineer will be a hands-on customer-facing technical leader for the Custom Digital MCU/MPU business. The role will work with customer engineering teams to understand product architectures, identify system requirements, position GF/MIPS processor and mixed-signal capabilities, and translate customer needs into clear product and technology roadmap inputs.

What you'll do

• Engage customer engineering teams to understand product systems, architecture choices, workloads, software stacks, constraints, and roadmap needs
• Translate customer needs into clear requirements for MCU/MPU products, processor subsystems, mixed-signal IP, software, safety/security, connectivity
• Support design-win pursuits with architecture discussions, technical differentiation, competitive comparisons, and customer-specific solution positioning
• Develop system-level collateral including block diagrams, requirements matrices, reference architectures, customer use-case notes, and competitive positioning material
• Work with product management, silicon architecture, software, and design teams to validate feasibility and prioritize customer-driven roadmap inputs
