About the role

The candidate will be responsible for the structural design and detailing of furnace/heater systems, including main furnace structures and associated structural components, ducting, stacks, lifting / transportation analysis Furnace modules .

What you'll do

  • Proficiency in STAAD.Pro for structural modelling, analysis and design
  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Furnace, Piping, Civil, Refractory and Fabrication /Construction/Erection teams
  • Provide structural engineering support during procurement, fabrication and site erection
  • Review of Vendor/Fabricator documents and drawings where structural engineering input is required
  • Support resolution of technical queries arising during fabrication and erection
