About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy – Procurement to manage procurement activities, ensure timely material availability, optimize purchasing costs, and maintain supplier performance. The role requires hands-on experience in manufacturing procurement, supplier coordination, purchase order management, commercial negotiations, and SAP-based procurement processes.

What you'll do

• Manage purchase requisition (PR) to purchase order (PO) conversion and track pending procurement activities
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and critical items
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, compare prices, and support commercial negotiations on cost, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Monitor overdue purchase orders, supplier commitments, material shortages, and procurement risks
• Coordinate with PPC, Stores, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure material availability and resolve procurement issues
