Product Design Technician - Level II - OFFC

About the role

The Product Design Technician – Level II is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining engineering models, drawings, and product specifications for Cummins products in accordance with company, industry, national, and international standards.

What you'll do

• Product Design & CAD Modeling
• Create and modify 3D component and assembly models using Creo based on engineering requirements, design inputs, packaging constraints, and applicable standards
• Develop and maintain product specifications, including solid models, configured engineering bill of materials, and detailed engineering drawings
• Support engineers in developing CAD concepts and basic design solutions for assigned EBU components and assemblies
• Apply mechanical design principles and working knowledge of product systems to develop accurate and practical design solutions
