Product Functional Test Mechanical Tech - Level II - SHOP

About the role

The Product Functional Test Mechanical Technician supports product functional testing by preparing, assembling, installing, and dismantling test articles and associated test equipment. The role is responsible for instrumentation installation, test-cell setup, test execution support, preliminary troubleshooting, and maintenance of laboratory and test-cell equipment.

What you'll do

• Test Article Preparation & Functional Testing
• Prepare test articles, engines, fixtures, rigs, and associated equipment in accordance with approved test plans and procedures
• Assemble and disassemble engines and test articles according to test requirements
• Install instrumentation on test articles in accordance with applicable engineering standards and test requirements
• Conduct and monitor engine/product functional tests as defined by the test plan and established test methodologies
