Project Accountant

About the role

Responsible for executing accounting policies and procedures involving the maintenance of general ledgers, asset and liability accounts, analysis of balance sheet accounts, Project related accounting transactions and management financial reporting. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within the field of accounting.

What you'll do

• Perform accounting function and activities including one or more activities of billing, revenue recognition, project financial status reports, overhead accounting
• Subject matter expert / Single point of contact role in activities assigned
• Should adhere to all controls and compliance including SOX / business controls
• Individual contributor role involving highly complex activities
• Role may require handling complex activities in F&A function including one or more of Billing / Account Reconciliation / Accounts Receivables / Cash Application /…

What you need

• 3–6 yrs of experience
• Reconciliation
• Accounting
• Financial reporting
• Accounts receivable
• Billing
• Budgeting
• MBA or M.Com or Chartered Accountant or B.Com
