About the role

This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-paced, intellectually stimulating world of natural catastrophe reinsurance — working with Swiss Re's proprietary risk modelling platforms and collaborating with underwriting desks across the globe.

What you'll do

• Deliver high-quality NatCat costing by analyzing property exposure data and providing underwriting advisory support to global underwriting desks
• Advise and guide underwriters in interpreting model results, understanding model differences, and navigating model limitations
• Collaborate on benchmarking and pricing of reinsurance contracts, working closely with underwriters to develop robust costing solutions
• Champion best practices in modelling and costing by continuously developing and applying the latest methodologies
• Drive model improvement by leveraging findings from underwriting analyses to enhance NatCat models and tools

What you need

• 3–5 yrs of experience
