Purchase Executive - Engineering Material

About the role

The Engineering Material Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring timely availability of engineering and maintenance materials required for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The role involves vendor management, cost optimization, compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards, and coordination with engineering, maintenance, and stores departments.

What you'll do

• Source materials such as pumps, motors, valves, bearings, HVAC components, electrical items, instrumentation spares, piping materials, and utility equipment
• Obtain quotations from approved vendors and perform comparative analysis
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and service agreements
• Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order execution
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers

What you need
