About the role

The primary objective of the role is to deliver consistent procurement service quality, enhance spend visibility and control, improve planning and forecasting, and support scalability of procurement operations as the fleet grows. independently manages end-to-end procurement for assigned vessels, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective sourcing while operating within defined authority limits.

What you'll do

• Independently manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned vessels and categories, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective sourcing
• Validate requisitions for accuracy, urgency, and alignment with approved specifications, suppliers, and contract frameworks
• Float RFQs, evaluate quotations on commercial and delivery parameters, and recommend sourcing decisions within delegated authority limits
• Create, issue, and follow up on Purchase Orders, ensuring confirmations, deliveries, and documentation are completed within defined SLAs
• Handle moderately complex and time-sensitive procurements, including coordination across multiple stakeholders and ports
