About the role

QA Engineer (DPI) - Contract at Plume. Design and develop automated test cases for validating DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) engines and secure network traffic inspection.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop automated test cases for validating DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) engines and secure network traffic inspection
  • Testing real-world client/router/cloud interactions for deep testing of L2–L7 network behavior
  • Validate TLS/SSL traffic inspection and network traffic classification techniques
  • Write tests to ensure accurate handling of malformed packets, evasive traffic, and intrusion detection patterns
  • Leverage and extend DPI tools (e.g., nDPI, Suricata, Zeek) for custom validation use cases
