QA Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance group supports Moody’s specialization in Asset Liability Management software, ensuring that our Asset Liability Management and Budgeting and Profitability solutions are accurate, reliable, and easy to use for banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions around the world.

What you'll do

• Ensure the quality and usability of Asset Liability Management and Budgeting and Profitability software through hands-on testing and clear documentation
• Execute manual usability and user interface testing of Asset Liability Management and Budgeting and Profitability software to confirm workflows are intuitive, accurate
• Design, write, and maintain unit tests and Python-based automated test scripts to expand regression coverage and reduce manual effort
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and supporting documentation that capture scope, expected results, and defects found
• Log, track, and prioritize defects in the issue-tracking system, partnering with developers and product owners to drive timely resolution
