About the role

Coordinate with vendors for quality issues, rejection, rework and corrective actions. Visit vendor locations for inspection, quality audits and process verification. Verify dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge and other measuring instruments. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications and inspection standards.

What you'll do

Inspect incoming raw materials, components, fabricated parts and bought-out items
Conduct Incoming Inspection, In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection as per drawings and quality standards
Coordinate with vendors for quality issues, rejection, rework and corrective actions
Visit vendor locations for inspection, quality audits and process verification
Verify dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge and other measuring instruments
