Quality Technical Specialist – Customer Quality & Locomotive Testing

About the role

The Quality Technical Specialist provides strategic leadership for Customer Quality, Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), and Locomotive Testing Quality, ensuring product compliance with customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements while optimizing Cost of Quality. The role is accountable for driving quality excellence through robust quality systems, defect prevention, reliability improvement, and continuous process enhancement.

What you'll do

• Lead Customer Quality, PDI, and Locomotive Testing Quality activities to ensure flawless product build Quality and and customer satisfaction
• Champion a First-Time-Right culture through rigorous testing, inspection, documentation, and process discipline
• Drive structured RCA, CAPA, and defect prevention strategies for manufacturing, reliability, and field quality issues
• Ensure effective management and closure of NCMRs, quality escapes, audit findings, and corrective actions
• Maintain compliance with QMS, ISO standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements
