Quantity Surveyor - Civil

About the role

Undertake quantity works for Building projects - Residential, Commercial, Hotel, Hospital, Fitout, Industry / warehouse (depending on project requirement) Undertake quantity take-offs for Civil, Structure, Architectural works using IS 1200, POMI or other similar standards. Use software tools (e.g., Cost X, AutoCAD) for quantity take-off and summarize quantities, transfer data into BOQs or cost plans including carrying out bulk checks.

What you'll do

• Use software tools (e.g., Cost X, AutoCAD) for quantity take-off and summarize quantities, transfer data into BOQs or cost plans including carrying out bulk checks
• Draft or Validate Bills of Quantities including carrying out bulk checks
• Prepare cost plans at different design stages including Concept, Schematic, and Design Development
• Analyse and adjust unit rates, price BOQ items, support value engineering exercises, collect market quotations, and assist in tender estimates and cost plan reporting
• Support post-contract activities by understanding key contract terms and post contract work process flow

What you need

• 5–7 yrs of experience
• AutoCAD
• Quantity estimation
• Construction
• B.Tech or B.E.
