R&D HIL (Hardware in the Loop) Specialist  - IDC

About the role

You shall be working in the research and development department, which is responsible for the control and automation logics relevant to Energy Storage, Photovoltaics, Hybrid solutions and Automation systems within the Grid Automation Business Unit – Power Conversion Systems team. Being part of a global team, you shall interact with the different stakeholders of the organization and Operational units worldwide.

What you'll do

• You shall leverage your extensive knowledge for modelling: Power Electronics converters, digital controllers, renewable and thermal generation assets
• Be responsible for the system HiL V&V processes for PCS product portfolio integrated with specific customer additional assets and functional requirements
• Working with the R&D senior management you shall participate in the definition and implementation the system V&V planning
• As part of the R&D team you will have the opportunity to interact with Product Management, external consultants, and internal customers globally located
• Responsible for documentation generation, version tracking and quality checks

What you need

• 5–9 yrs of experience
• Hardware
• MATLAB
• Power systems
• PhD or B.Tech or B.E.
