About the role

This role is pivotal in guiding the team through comprehensive underwriting judgments, ensuring strict adherence to processes, and timely task completion. Your expertise will be critical in resolving complex customer queries and making sound medical underwriting decisions. The role demands a deep understanding of medical underwriting, including independent interpretation of ECG and TMT.

What you'll do

• Review complex medical cases and high-risk referrals, ensuring precise risk decisions
• Interpret ECG, TMT, and laboratory reports independently to inform accurate underwriting decisions
• Manage and mentor a team of doctors to maintain high-quality decisions and productivity
• Allocate work effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed within service level agreements
• Conduct quality audits to identify errors and implement corrective measures for improvement
