About the role

This role requires extensive travel to various vessel locations to evaluate and ensure compliance with marine safety standards, regulations, and company policies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining high safety standards across the fleet and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Conduct thorough marine safety audits onboard vessels, assessing compliance with international maritime safety regulations and company policies
• Identify safety risks, non-compliances, and potential hazards during audits and inspections
• Prepare detailed audit reports with recommendations for corrective actions and follow-up as necessary
• Collaborate with vessel crews and management to promote best practices in marine safety and implement audit recommendations
• Stay current with evolving maritime safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices
