SAP FPSL Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an SAP FPSL Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation and post-go-live operations of SAP S/4HANA for Financial Products Subledger. You will work with finance, actuarial and technical teams to translate regulatory accounting requirements, including IFRS 17, IFRS 9, US GAAP and multi-GAAP reporting, into effective subledger solutions for banking and insurance clients.

What you'll do

• Configure and implement SAP FPSL - Set up the source data layer, accounting rules engine, and result data layer. Configure multi-GAAP capabilities
• Support accounting and measurement requirements - Assist with accounting configurations and reporting support for IFRS 17, IFRS 9
• For IFRS 17, support the three measurement models: General Measurement Model (GMM), Premium Allocation Approach (PAA), and Variable Fee Approach (VFA)
• For IFRS 9, support accounting and reporting requirements related to classification and measurement, expected credit loss (ECL), amortized cost
• Manage FSDP integration and data mapping - Map actuarial, policy and transactional data into SAP FSDP. Ensure clean data flow from source systems into FPSL
