About the role

We’re looking for a high-performing SDE-III with deep backend engineering expertise and strong foundations in data engineering that power the SSP Exchange team – a next-generation, AI-powered engineering platform working towards transforming ourselves into an Omni channel exchange ..

What you'll do

• Design and develop large-scale backend services, APIs, and microservices for high-throughput data systems
• Build and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines using technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, etc
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, data analysts and engineers to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions
• Optimize performance and reliability of distributed systems; ensure low-latency data ingestion and processing
• Champion code quality, performance, and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, containerization, observability, fault tolerance) and mentor juniors

What you need

• 5–8 years in software engineering
